The sea is like life, beautiful and deadly all at the same time. A wave is not truly measured by height but of increments of fear, and different locations have different thresholds of fear. Waves are like obstacles in life obstacles cannot be measured or compared from one person to another. A big problem in one person’s life may be a small problem in another individuals’ life.

As the sea, can be beautiful and it gives you hope that a being greater than mankind is alive and alive all around us. It also shows the power nature holds upon us all. The sea can sometimes encourage us. When you stand on something so powerful as the ocean and the water rushing by. It’s as close as you’ll ever get to being one with nature walking on water one with yourself. The wave then tumbles you spinning you into the pits of darkness. You must relax every part of your body to control yours breathe, and leave un-scraped of harm. In life when a struggle arises and there is nothing humanly possible you can do you must relax, breathe, and know that this deepest darkest part of your life’s journey will soon be over.

The birds fly in a V formation the most powerful at front similar to a parent making life’s obstacles easier for their child. When one is hurt, the bird flies to the back so there is less wind less obstacle.

On the beach the shells that have been swept up from the sea like individuals being swept up by life. The untarnished one we cherish, but if you look closely every shell is beautiful with different marks unique special marks. The cracked ones have more of a story then the untouched. They will soon be swept back into the sea decomposed to become sand, and when the time is right lightning will strike making glass. As in life we will all go through challenges become broken by the sea. However, we will be struck in a storm so strong it batters houses, beaches, and all manmade structures. When the storm is over and the tranquility and cleanliness of nature takes over you will see what the storm has given you. It has helped you become something new, something better, something stronger.

In life, you may have been the one in the back of the V. The one shell cracked chipped, and spun around in the darkest places of the sea. You may have also been atop of the water, the most powerful place on this earth when everything seems to click. You may have fallen off the board in a storm, a storm so strong breathing seems impossible at times but the board seems to keep you afloat. And I have washed up on the beach waiting for the lightning to strike waiting to be made stronger, waiting to made into something much more powerful than my present self. But as a shell you have a unique story, a story greater than those that look untouched un-phased by the surroundings.
